Stubbs scored his second goal of the night with 2:06 remaining in the third period to give the Columbus River Dragons a 5-4 victory over the Port Huron Prowlers on Thursday night at the Columbus Civic Center. The victory moves the Dragons into first place in the FPHL, one point ahead of the Elmira Enforcers. The River Dragons jumped out to an early two-goal lead in the first period. Austin Daae scored at the 7:15 mark, and Jake Schultz followed just 18 seconds later to give the Dragons the early 2-0 lead. Both scores came on centering passes from Mac Jansen.
