As the investigation continued, suspicious circumstances revealed Zachary Neal Essick, Tasha Nicole Hill and Joseph Edward Brock became suspects in the concealment of Watson s death because of unnatural causes.Investigators found Watson died at a residence on Hickory Tree Road in Winston-Salem, which belonged to Essick and Hill. Three people were arrested after a body was found lying near a waterway in Arcadia on Saturday.
Deputies said they responded to a call in the 3300 Block of Frye Bridge Road to find a dead man, later identified as Christopher Chase Watson, lying near the water.
Detectives began an investigation and learned Watson died at a home in the 2800 block of Hickory Tree Road in Winston Salem that belongs to Zachary Neal Essick, 32, and Tasha Nicole Hill, 32, the Sheriff s Office said. Authorities believe Watson died due to unnatural causes at the home and that Essick and Hill threw Watson s body off Frye Bridge Road sometime in early January, according to a press release.
