On Jan. 31, the University community had the opportunity to hear Davi Kopenawa speak about the ongoing systematic erasure of the Yanomami people and what it means for the Amazon Rainforest.
In partnership with The Shed in New York City, the exhibition highlights the Yanomami people; one of the largest indigenous groups living in the Amazonia today.
Claudia Andujar has photographed the Yanomami in the Amazon during a lifetime of activism. At 91, she is still helping protect their rainforest homeland.
