Showers and thunderstorms are expected to increase across Southern Nevada this evening. The prime time to see storms around the Las Vegas Valley will be between 7 p. M. And 2 a. M. Tuesday morning. Any storms that form will bring gusty winds and the potential for localized flash flooding. Our showers ease up for tuesday with only a few pop up storms possible; mainly over the mountains and north of the valley. High temperatures will hold in the upper 90s and low 100s on tuesday. More sun and warmer weather is on the showers and thunderstorms are expected to increase across our Team Coverage of the storms. Fox5s eric hilt is live in the newsroom. Eric talked to the Childress Family about the ruling. Family members of Keith Childress jr. Say todays review was difficult, and forced them to relieve the day of the shooting all over again. Get on the ground childress was shot and killed on new years eve of last year. This is body cam video from that day it shows him ignoring demands from officers. Those officers thought he had a gun in his pocket, but it was just a cell phone childress was the District Attorneys Office ruled the shooting as justified, and todays review was meant to address concerns from the public. But Childress Family told fox5 they have unanswered questions. Why . That just my only question. Why. It never had to go down like this. Why did this happen. There was no reason for it, absolutely no reason for it. Us marshals had tracked childress down that night and called metro for backup when marshals told metro that childress was wanted for attempted murder but that was wrong.
