Action News Reporter Marissa Kynaston joins us live with the latest investigators were on scene out here for hours this morning gathering evidence. They just recently opened up roads again. The accident happened about 3 30 in the morning. Investigators say two vehicles ran into each other at the Martin Luther king and gowan intersection. One driver was sent to the hospital. Police say he wasnt wearing a seatbelt. The other who Police Believe caused the accident was taken into custody. At this point in the investigation Police Believe speed may have been a factor. But they did say as far as damage it was one of the worst accidents they had seen in a while. Later today on action news at three hear from witnesses about the crash. And an update to a story that broke overnight. People living near pecos and bonanza were in the dark this morning. Thanks to a truck that crashed into a light pole, and an electrical box. Once inside, that suspect broke through another door to get into a downstairs bedroom and according to police, tour that room apart until he found money. He got about 150. But by then, the brother arrived back home. Confronted the arm suspect. It got very physical. The suspects gun never went off. The brother was able to hold down that gunman until police arrived. We do know the brother and the sister are okay. The suspect, though, hospitalized at einstein tonight with minor injuries to his face. Our advice is never to confront, never to physically engage an individual thats committing a crime. In this case the 21yearold resident came to protect his sister.
