(AP Photo/John Minchillo) A deadly winter storm that dumped several feet of snow in the Northeast and brought coastal flooding slowly moved toward an end Tuesday. Still some storm activity showers and gusty winds are expected to continue into Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. People in the region on Tuesday were digging out of heavy snow including almost 3 feet in parts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey that closed or snarled roads, airports and public transit systems.
