That a totalitarian socialist dictatorship has destroyed Cuba and the lives of so many men, women, and children, should not be a partisan issue but to Democrat U.S. Senator Bob Menendez it is. In fact, in a statement Menendez went out of his away to attack the NJ GOP Gubernatorial candidate, Jack Ciattarelli, for having the audacity to attend the Cuban freedom rally in North Bergen. If Menendez thinks Ciattarelli is politicizing the Cuban freedom movement by merely being present at a rally, then what of Menendez’s political underlings in the Hudson County Democrat Organization that spoke at that very same rally?

Hudson County GOP Chair Jose Arango cruises to another term at reorganization meeting

By John Heinis/Hudson County View Hosted at The Boulevard in North Bergen, Arango ran a tight meeting as expected, with the doors closing at 6 p.m. sharp and no non-committee members allowed inside the room. The meeting was short and sweet, with several committee members arriving after the session had already adjourned by around 6:25 p.m. Arango’s re-election bid looked strong after Sotomayor-Einstein lost his Hoboken GOP committee race to Joe Branco in the June 9th primary. While he attempted to challenge Branco again for the chairmanship at last night’s reorg meeting in the Mile Square City, he was barred from doing so since he is not a committee member.
