Hosted at The Boulevard in North Bergen, Arango ran a tight meeting as expected, with the doors closing at 6 p.m. sharp and no non-committee members allowed inside the room.
The meeting was short and sweet, with several committee members arriving after the session had already adjourned by around 6:25 p.m.
Arango’s re-election bid looked strong after Sotomayor-Einstein lost his Hoboken GOP committee race to Joe Branco in the June 9th primary.
While he attempted to challenge Branco again for the chairmanship at last night’s reorg meeting in the Mile Square City, he was barred from doing so since he is not a committee member.
After infighting over procedural rules, Hoboken GOP elects Joe Branco as new chair
