The political shams back in Washington and here at home
It was a huge political sham. I pored over Trump’s rambling speech on Jan. 6 that the Democrats are making hay over. These are direct quotes from Trump that day:
“I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”
“But our fight against the big donors, big media, big tech, and others is just getting started. This is the greatest in history. There’s never been a movement like that.”
“We must stop the steal and then we must ensure that such outrageous election fraud never happens again, can never be allowed to happen again.”
Apartment complex OK’d despite neighbors’ outcry The Ceres Planning Commission saw these renderings of the elevations of Putney Apartments proposed for 3420 Ninth Street and believe it will be an upgrade to the area. Some neighbors, however, see nothing but negatives.
Despite the objections of some neighbors, the Ceres Planning Commission on Monday unanimously approved a proposal to build a 10-unit multi-family residential apartment project on a flag lot at 3420 Ninth Street in Ceres.
The 0.64-acre site is located approximately 255 feet south of the Roeding Road/Ninth Street intersection. The site currently is occupied by a dilapidated home that will come down.
