Two men suspected in the kidnapping of a Utah woman were arrested Thursday, the Unified Police Department of Kearns, Utah, announced in a press release
Orlando Esiesa Tobar, 29, of Guatemala and
Jorge Rafael Medina Reyes, 21, of Venezuela in connection with the kidnapping. Both men were charged with aggravated kidnapping, aggravated murder, obstruction of justice and criminal homicide and booked into the
Salt Lake County Adult Detention Center.
The day Solorio-Romero was kidnapped from her house, she was forcibly taken in a 2010 green Toyota Camry and transported to a secondary location in West Valley City where she was fatally shot. From the second location, her body was transported in a white pickup truck with a snowplow on the front.
Authorities have recovered the truck. They also found a firearm in Esiesa and Medina’s residence, which matched the bullet was recovered from the location in West Valley City where Solorio-Romero’s body was found.
