On Monday at 1:30 p.m., police responding to reports of a stabbing near the 16th and Mission BART station found a 64-year-old man suffering from a wound to his cheek. Eyewitnesses said a man cut the victim’s face with a knife, knocked him to ground and fled into the BART station, police said. The victim was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
