In addition to this $10,000 matching grant, the Rotary Club has also announced its annual community grants for 18 projects created by leadership, health education and community service organizations in Henderson. These grants include everything from programming support for Involvement’s juvenile rehabilitation service to support for books to newborns and toddlers through Imagination Library.
Because of the pandemic, these organizations will receive their awards now, and a formal recognition program will occur at a Rotary program in the future.
The successful grant recipients are:
Audubon Kids Zone (AKZ), $1,000 to support food boxes;
Cliff Hagan Boys & Girls Club, $1,000 to support weekly scholarships;
