Warburton: A tremendous performance
MARK Warburton hailed his side’s “tremendous performance” following our 1-0 win over Swansea City.
Lyndon Dykes scored a 90th minute winner for QPR against a Swans outfit who were chasing the second automatic promotion spot, and Warburton said: “It was a tremendous performance by the players.
“I thought we started the game a bit slow and tentative, we didn’t really get on the front foot – but then we did, and we started creating chances.
“In the second half we knew they would take risks, so we had to come out and get hold of that football – and I thought we did that for the whole of the second half.

Warburton: Motivation won t be an issue Share article:
MARK Warburton believes the opportunity to break into the top ten should be all the motivation his players need as they head to Middlesbrough this weekend.
Rangers lost at Rotherham in midweek to remain 11th, sitting one place and one point below Neil Warnock’s men, and Warburton said: “We talk a lot about motivation.
“We had the chance on Tuesday night to go ninth in the league, and we would have been going into this weekend looking to put five points between us and Middlesbrough.
“These are the types of targets we have to set ourselves – we need to be aggressive and push. And I’m sure Middlesbrough and Neil Warnock will be exactly the same.

QUEENS Park Rangers were on hand to clinch a comfortable 3-0 victory over Coventry City at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.
Early first-half strikes from Chris Willock and an own goal from Michael Rose set Rangers on their way and Ilias Chair’s effort mid-way through the second half wrapped an enjoyable Good Friday afternoon in W12.
Heading into this one Mark Warburton made three changes from the R’s side that took to the field just over 12 days ago, with Joe Lumley, Geoff Cameron and Chris Willock coming into the starting XI. As Seny Dieng and Lyndon Dykes were named on the bench – with Jordy de Wijs omitted from the squad as he continues to nurse the injury which saw him withdrawn early on in the draw with Reading.
