Action plan. Reporter good evening and engineers are now tasked with coming up with this plan to try to prevent any more storm water from overflowing into the streets, homes and into the bay. Maria says wastewater was a big issue on her street during hurricane hermine. It looked like water coming up, my husbands truck went up there the manhole would have blown out. Reporter several county sewer systems reached capacity causing millions of gallons of wastewater to go into the streets. Maria who has lived here 20 years says shes never seen anything like it. We live in florida and there are storms coming here so why are we having that happening . They should have an action plan before storms arrive.
