Basketball and social change collide in upcoming Apple TV+ Big Man on Campus Apple has announced an order for a documentary series for Apple TV+ about five-star basketball recruit Makur Maker.
Apple describes Big Man on Campus as the story of a historic moment in America told through the lens of a young athlete with the power to create change Big Man on Campus will tell the story of Maker s freshman year based against the backdrop of the Black Lives Matter movement and the COVID-19 pandemic.
It will include insight into Maker s decision to play for Howard University. The high-level recruit made history by committing to a Historically Black College over top-tier NCAA programs.

The series is directed and executive produced by Seth Gordon, producer of “Undefeated” which won an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature, and will be produced for Apple by Exhibit A, Boardwalk Pictures and Sony Pictures Television.

Bubba Wallace will be the subject of a new docuseries at Netflix.
The series will take viewers behind the scenes of the 2021 NASCAR season through the eyes of the only Black driver at the top level of the sport, and will explore Wallace, 23XI Racing and NASCAR’s efforts to advocate for inclusion and equality in racing and beyond.
This season, Wallace began racing as part of NBA legend Michael Jordan’s new team, which he bought with his business partner Denny Hamlin. Wallace had previously been racing with Richard Petty Motorsports.

MCINTOSH CO., Ga. (WTOC) - The McIntosh County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a double homicide that happened early Friday morning.
The bodies of a couple were discovered by their son around 2 a.m. near the 7000 block of Jones Road. Investigators say another son of the deceased couple named Jordan Wynn is currently a person of interest.
Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigator Colonel Danny Lowe says no other information is available at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
