Amman Al-Hassan Al-Fakih, a student from the University of Jordan, has been selected as the sole Arab representative for the upcoming Asia World Model United Nations (AWMUN), which will be held in Indonesia in May.
AWMUN aims to help young leaders, aged between 17 and 25 years old, from different countries to broaden their networks, providing a platform where they can share their perspectives about the world’s issues, according to the AWMUN website.
Al-Fakih, who is only 21 years old, is a Hult Prize record-breaker, tennis champion and TEDx organiser.

Hult Prize is a global student competition and a crowd-sourcing platform for the creation of new social businesses and TEDx is a US-based non-profit organisation devoted to “ideas worth spreading”.
