My mind-set is not even on the NCAA tournament right now, the junior guard said. I don t want to think about the tournament and all that talk. It s just about the next game, getting better.
The Gophers (11-6, 4-6 in the Big Ten), who play next on Thursday at Rutgers, haven t won a road game this season. They have enough quality home wins, namely vs. Michigan, Iowa and Ohio State, to be in NCAA tourney projections with half of the Big Ten schedule left.

Lineup changes needed?
Gophers coach Richard Pitino had nothing to worry about when his team played at home in the first 11 games. They went undefeated at the Barn to that point, including wins against Iowa, Michigan, Ohio State and Michigan State. Scoring wasn t a big problem with the Gophers averaging 84.5 points to go 11-0 at home, but they looked like a completely different team last Saturday in a 63-49 loss against Maryland. The Terrapins held Minnesota to 30 percent shooting from the field, including 5-for-23 from three-point range. Marcus Carr had 25 points on 8-for-14 shooting, but the rest of his teammates were 6-for-32 on field goals.

The Iowa Wolves have officially announced their 2021 roster for the G League bubble, which is expected to start sometime in early February.

As you know by now, the NBA G League announced that 18 total teams will be participating in the modified 2021 season, including 17 NBA G League teams and then the G League Ignite. The season is officially expected to tip off in early February, with the bubble itself being held once again at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Franz Wagner tops many NBA mock draft boards when it comes to Big Ten prospects, but he had just eight points on 3-for-9 shooting in last weekend s 75-57 win against the No. 7-ranked Wolverines. Kalscheur is 6-4 and 200 pounds. Wagner is nearly 6-10 and 220. But there is no opposing player too big or too small for the former DeLaSalle star to lock down.
