Donald Cerrone has an opponent for Saturday night.
With the clock ticking and UFC Vegas 26th on May 8th still missing an official main event, the UFC has managed to put one piece of the puzzle together for their ESPN broadcast this weekend: “Cowboy” Cerrone will face unranked welterweight Alex Morono in a three round affair.
The bout was first announced by C. Contreras Legaspi and confirmed by MMA Junkie.
Cerrone was originally supposed to face Diego Sanchez in a fan friendly scrap that was set to Sanchez’s retirement bout. But some sketchy behavior from Diego’s coach and mentor led to the UFC releasing “Nightmare” last week.

Muhammad is in the midst of his own excellent streak, having won eight of his last nine bouts. “Remember The Name” serves as an excellent foil to Edwards, a hard-nosed grinder looking to force an ugly fight and walk away with the underdog victory.
