GAITHERSBURG, Md. – Odette B. Stebbins, 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, Feb. 8, 2021 at Asbury Methodist Village in Gaithersburg, Md.
She is the loving mother of James (Carolyn) Stebbins, John Stebbins, Catherine (Mark) Holder, and the late Patrick Stebbins; she is also the cherished grandmother of Jordan Holder, Kelsey Holder, and Lauren Holder. Survivors also include many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Odette was born in Waterville in 1936, and raised throughout the state. She graduated from the University of Maine in Portland with a degree in education, and relocated to suburban Maryland to raise her family and begin her teaching career. She was a champion of children and their education, and retired after 30 years of teaching elementary school in the Maryland p
