The Export-Import Bank of Korea (Eximbank) signed an MOU with POSCO International and S&S INC for the stabilization of supply chains and the growth of small companies.
Business leaders of Korea and Vietnam on Tuesday discussed efforts to deepen bilateral economic cooperation in new areas such as a transition to green energy, in a step toward carbon neutrality and sustainable growth.
Business people from Korea and Vietnam gathered Tuesday to strengthen future cooperation between the two countries to commemorate the 30th anniversary of economic ties, according to the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI). The KCCI held the Korea-Vietnam Business Forum at Lotte Hotel in Seoul, Tuesday, with around 300 businesspeople from both countries in attendance, including Vietnamese President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Strategy and Finance Choo Kyung-ho.
POSCO International is leading the digitalization of international trade by introducing electronic bills of lading (e-B/L). The company announced that the first trade transaction using an electronic bill of lading was completed on Nov. 27. POSCO International exported auto parts to the U.S. through the issuance of an electronic bill of lading on Nov. 3, and on Nov. 27, the U.S. importer safely received the shipment.
POSCO International, a trading affiliate of steel giant POSCO, is strengthening its cooperation with NongHyup Feed, an animal feed manufacturing affiliate of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation, for a stable supply of key input produce materials, according to the two firms, Wednesday.
