Man Arrested For Loanshark Harassment
The Police have arrested a 40-year-old man for his suspected involvement in loanshark harassment.
On 17 and 18 December 2020, the Police were alerted to two cases of loanshark harassment at residential units along Joo Seng Road and Lorong 1 Toa Payoh, where loanshark graffities were scrawled on the walls of the corridor at the lift lobbies.
Through ground enquiries and with the aid of images from Police cameras, officers from Tanglin Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 19 December 2020. Preliminary investigations revealed that the man is believed to be involved in similar cases of loanshark harassment island-wide.
