ELLISVILLE, Miss. (WDAM) – Sixth-ranked Jones College will be part of the opening act when the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference playoffs begin Wednesday.
The Lady Bobcats (35-7) will ride a 13-game winning streak into the MACCC Tournament, which will be played on the campus of Itawamba Community College in Fulton.

ELLISVILLE, Miss. (WDAM) - Jones College’s JaKayla Johnson and Daisha “Nunu” Bradford were two of 10 student-athletes to earn WBCA Two-Year College Coaches’ All-America honors, as announced by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association on Tuesday.
The Coaches’ All-America team is comprised of the 10 best players in National Junior College Athletic Association basketball, regardless of position, as chosen by the division’s head coaches.

CLINTON, Miss. (WDAM) – Daisha Bradford scored a team-high 25 points and as No. 1 Jones College ran away from Louisiana State University-Eunice, 100-74, Wednesday at A.E. Wood Coliseum in the semifinals of the Region XXIII women’s basketball tournament.

ELLISVILLE, Miss. (WDAM) - Daisha Bradford (Mobile, Alabama) scored 29 points and pulled down 13 rebounds to help top-ranked Jones College to a 67-52 victory over Pearl River in the Region 23 Tournament quarterfinals here Monday night at A.B. Howard Gymnasium.
It was her fourth double-double of the season.
The Bobcats, 18-0, will now play LSU-Eunice at 5 p.m. Wednesday in the semifinals at A.E Wood Coliseum on the campus of Mississippi College in Clinton. LSU-Eunice defeated East Central 74-64 in a quarterfinal game. In Wednesday’s other semifinal game, East Mississippi will meet Coahoma.
