A man received prison time for threatening a Michigan 911 dispatcher and her family last year. Jonathan Munafo told her that after the “Insurrection Act” he was coming to her house first.
LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) It turns out that a man, who was wanted for involvement in the January 6 attacks on the U.S. Capitol and also made threatening calls to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s office, also may have been targeting Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
The Detroit Free Press reports that 34-year-old Jonathon Munafo of New York had made online searches searched for Whitmer and the location of gun stores leading up to January 6. Munafo was recently arrested in Florida after being on the run for four months.
He faces charges related to the Capitol riots and also is charged with making 143 calls to 911, threatening authorities at the Calhoun County Sheriff’s office on January 5th.
