Former New Zealand prime minister Jacinda Ardern said Wednesday that she plans to take up fellowships at Havard University later this year. Ardern shocked New Zealanders in January by announcing she was resigning as prime minister after five years in office, saying she no longer had "enough in the tank". She plans to spend a semester at the elite Massachusetts-based university.
Jacinda Ardern has been appointed to dual fellowships at the Harvard Kennedy School. The former New Zealand prime minister will begin teaching at the university in the fall.
