Beating and harassment are among charges put to Grantham defendants
Grantham area defendants brought before magistrates recently include:
Thomas Ben Smith, 31, of Hardwick Close, Grantham: admits assaulting a police officer by beating in Newark on December 7, 2019. He was made the subject of a community order including 200 hours of unpaid work within 12 months and ordered to pay £200 in compensation, a £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Calvin Jonathan Stockdale, 22, of Dryden Close, Grantham: admits having in his possession a quantity of class B drug cannabis in East Leake, Nottinghamshire, on May 17, 2020 and having in his possession a quantity of cannabis in the same village on March 18, 2019. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay a £21 victim surcharge and £50 towards costs.
