NFL official Sarah Thomas is set to become the first woman to officiate in a Super Bowl. When you start having more and more and more females, no one s doing it for the recognition. They are doing it because they love it.
Sunday, the Super Bowl will offer up history when the Kansas City Chiefs play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Tampa.
That alone is historic. It s the first time a team has played a Super Bowl in its home stadium.
Another groundbreaking moment happens when Sarah Thomas takes the field in her black and white striped jersey. She ll be the first female official to work the NFL s biggest game.

Day 21 Of “Catch 22” Focuses On A Man Who Assaulted A Woman In Cottonwood
Today is Day 21 in Yavapai Silent Witness’s “Catch 22” program. Today we focus on the search for 35-year-old Jonathan Sterling Mansfield. Between September 9th and 15th of 2018, Mansfield stole a vehicle from the UHAUL store in Sedona. On September 15th Cottonwood Police located the UHAUL truck pulling a trailer in the area of Main and Cochise streets in Cottonwood. The officer saw Mansfield striking a female in the head several times. The officer pulled the vehicle over and Mansfield fled on foot. He was taken into custody and charged with assault and auto theft. Mansfield was convicted but has since violated his probation. He is a white male, six-feet tall and weighs 170 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. His last known address was in Eastlake, Ohio.
