Tonight, firefighters stand victorious over the fire that this afternoon struck fear into this neighborhood and beyond. 300 firefighters from oakland, berkeley and cal fire unleashed a fierce attack against flames as they moved towards multimillion dollar homes above and town homes in the villas complex. 100 people told to get out now. This fire was responding to a report of a gas leak when the home exploded and you can see what is left there. Hard to make out what was there before. Just a lot of debris scattered about. Shortly after responding to the scene, authorities found what appeared to be a drug lab there. At least six police were also taken to the hospital but with only minor injuries.
