At Care in the Garden, she presented an award to Steve Double. Steve was responsible for setting up the Operation Geranium initiative, which gave those alone a geranium plant to nurture during the first lockdown. In addition to this, he organised postcards by local artists, with a ‘wish you were here’ message on the back, to help people through their isolation.
