French property company, Corum Asset Management on behalf of its fund, Corum XL, has returned to the acquisitions trail, with an agreement to acquire the NSQ1 building at OâCallaghan Propertiesâ Navigation Square development in Cork city docklands. The deal which is understood be valued at around â¬60 million brings Corumâs overall investment in the Irish market to date to just under â¬290 million.
The French investorâs last purchase here saw it acquire Blackthorn House in Sandyford in south Dublin from Irish Life, for around â¬18 million in May of last year.
The NSQ1 building in Cork is the first of four buildings which make up OâCallaghan Propertiesâ 360,000sq ft Navigation Square, the city centreâs largest office development. Two blocks are already built and construction of the third is expected to commence by the end of the current year.

This 20-story tower includes 56 luxury condominium units above structured parking and ground floor retail, creating an urban living experience that dramatically changes by orientation and view. Interiors seamlessly blend with exterior living, marked by the signature staggered balcony profile on the building’s Peachtree Street façade. Developed by The Loudermilk Companies, the ground floor retail space is 300,000 gsf with five levels of elevated parking.
