The latest is
The Pembrokeshire Murders, a true crime drama which has drawn bumper ratings in Britain. And it’s not hard to see why. With just three episodes and a magnetic lead in Luke Evans, this is a compact viewing commitment which is time well spent.
Evans plays Detective Superintendent Steve Wilkins who, in 2006, re-opens two unsolved 1980s murder cases.
In the wintry, windswept coastal county of Pembrokeshire the Coastal Path Murders involved the deaths of a husband and wife, but the area also was home to the murder of siblings in a remote farmhouse, Scoveston Manor. As Wilkins investigates, he finds evidence that links to a further case, involving sexual assaults at Nolton Hill Estate.

As time looked to be running out, Steve Wilkins (Luke Evans) made a huge breakthrough in his investigation into John Cooper (Keith Allen) on the latest episode of ‘The Pembrokeshire Murders’.

The episode opened with Steve being interviewed by Jonathan Hill (David Fynn) while Cooper watched on television from prison. We then saw Andrew Cooper (Oliver Ryan) found down by the train tracks and he was alive.
In prison Cooper went to the library where he picked up a book called ‘Traces of Guilt’. Cooper’s reading habits were reported back to Steve and the team, and they were pleased their ploy was working. The team had also been given interview dates and Steve told them to prepare so they could catch Cooper.
