It is announced this week, during Children’s Gardening Week, that the Eric Wright Charitable Trust has pledged its support to Child Action Northwest with funding to create a new purpose-built outdoor space for young people at CANW’s head office in Wilpshire, as well as ongoing funding to support the charities work with Young Carers across Blackburn with Darwen.

Ronnie Corbett said “there was never a cross word” with Ronnie Barker, during four decades of what he called a close and “very British friendship”. Barker described their partnership as “even more amicable than a marriage – wedlock without the bad patches”.
