Broome County Fair returns for its 146th year

(WBNG) The Broome County Fair is set to to kick of their 146th year!
The fair returns after the pandemic canceled the festivities in 2020. Preparations for the fair usually take place about a year in advance but Board President Gary Cornell said the pandemic altered those plans. A lot of our events that are coming back in front of the grand stand are the ones that we re signed up for last year, Cornell said. The only thing was we just really didn t start planning the Fair until April/May for this year which is late.

Los Angeles-based grower/packer/shipper Progressive Produce will see an expanded organic Heirloom Navel orange program towards the end of the year and into the first quarter of 2021. Sold under the recently refreshed Nature s Bounty Organic label, the company s perfectly sweet and locally grown organic Heirloom Navels will be available from late December until March. Product can be packed in three-pound bags with bulk sizes also available.
Speaking of Nature s Bounty Organic, Director of Marketing and Sales Oscar Guzman said, We updated the label and brand with a sleek, simplistic design and bright, bold colors to catch consumers attention from a distance. Packaging for lemons, grapefruit, Valencia and Navel oranges and Heirloom Navel oranges will feature the new design.
