Jun. 24 FORT WORTH An overworked 911 call-taker didn't send a Fort Worth police officer on a June 1 domestic call that ended in a double-murder and suicide, according to a news report. Ex-911 operator Kate Colley told KXAS-TV that the stressed 911 dispatcher received a call from Holly Beverly, who reported that her estranged husband was on his way to her apartment in west Fort Worth to harm .

FORT WORTH, Texas - The two people shot and killed in Fort Worth earlier this week were a woman and her son who was celebrating his 17th birthday.
Holly Beverly and Titus Atkins died early Tuesday morning at the Estates Apartments on Jonah Drive, which is on the city’s west side.
Fort Worth police said neighbors reported hearing gunshots just after midnight.
Atkins turned 17 on the day that he died.
Neighbors also told FOX 4 they saw two children exiting the apartment after the shooting. They were not physically hurt but appeared to be in shock.

Three people are confirmed dead in a shooting at an apartment home early Tuesday in Fort Worth, police say.
Fort Worth police spokesman Buddy Calzada confirmed officers were called at 12:14 a.m. to a domestic incident at the Life at Westland Estates apartments in the 2900 block of Jonah Drive, on the city s west side.

Fort Worth police are trying to determine what led up to the fatal shooting of three people at an apartment complex overnight.
FORT WORTH, Texas - Police are investigating a shooting that left three people dead in west Fort Worth.
Fort Worth police said callers reported hearing gunshots at the Westland Estates Apartments on Jonah Drive just after midnight Tuesday morning.
When officers went inside the first-floor unit they found three bodies.
So far police haven’t released any information about the victims as far as their ages or gender. There s also no word on their relationship to each other.
