Rivers of Nihil History and Biography Rivers of Nihil are an American death metal band based in Reading, Pennsylvania. Formed in 2009, the group consists of Jake Dieffenbach, Brody Uttley, Jon Topore, Adam Biggs, and Jared Klein. Making a name for themselves with early EP Hierarchy and by opening for the likes of Decapitated and Dying Fetus, Rivers of Nihil went on to sign with Metal Blade, who put out their debut, The Conscious Seed of Light , in 2013. Since then, Rivers of Nihil have put out Monarchy in 2015 and Where Owls Know My Name in 2018. Rivers of Nihil will return to the UK and Europe in winter 2021 for the Rising Merch Faces Of Death Tour, on which they ll be joined by Allegaeon, Archspire, Black Crown Initiate, and To The Grave.
