The Senate confirmed today the judicial appointments of Jordan Kimura to the Oahu Circuit Court and Erika Ireland, Robert Brown and David Hayakawa to the District Court of the First Circuit (Oahu).
Hawaii defense attorneys said they are not surprised the Eric Thompson murder case ended in a mistrial. They believed there was a large amount of doubt about the evidence presented.
