The High School Track and Field season enters the conference meet stage today. The 13 schools from the WaMaC Conference will converge on Independence. The coverage area schools the Mustangs will host include West Delaware and Beckman. The 14 schools of the Tri-Rivers Conference will be in Alburnett, including Maquoketa Valley, Ed-Co, North Linn, Starmont and East Buchanan. The Western Dubuque girls will be in Cedar Falls and the Bobcat boys at Loras College in Dubuque for the Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Divisonal. And the 14 River Valley Conference schools will be in Anamosa, including Monticello and Cascade. The TRC meet will start with field events at 4:00 with the other meets beginning at 4:30.
