Late Sunday night, the official Twitter account of 90s alt-rock champs Eve 6 posted a cryptic tweet, all the more strange for its presumptive brevity.

First up, the players. Rock fans of a certain age will know Eve 6 as the Southern California act behind “Inside Out” (the “heart in a blender” song) and “Here’s to the Night.” They’ve been on and off again as a band since the mid-90s but the band was extremely important to a generation of kids practicing kick flips and hackey sack in their checkered Vans in the school parking lot.
