Town’s first ever game at Kingsmeadow ended in a frustrating 0-0 draw with AFC Wimbledon. The Blues dominated possession throughout and hit the bar throughout James Norwood in the first half, while a number of better opportunities were spurned in the second.
Town will be without Luke Garbutt and Teddy Bishop due to injury - in addition to the suspended Gwion Edwards - for Saturday’s trip to Sunderland but Emyr Huws is available having missed last week’s defeat to Peterborough.
Charlie Wyke’s injury-time goal has given Sunderland a 1-0 lead at the break against 10-man Town, the Blues having been reduced in number after Kayden Jackson was red-carded in the 10th minute.
