The project, crafted from acrylic and wood in WSU’s state of the art fabrication facilities, serves as a tribute to patients and staff who have passed away since the hospital’s construction in 2004.
A small group of WSU students and Pullman Regional Hospital staff members gathered at the hospital Saturday morning to install a Tree of Remembrance memorial to honor hospital patients and staff who have passed away since the construction of the hospital in 2004. Composed of 415 individual leaves, this tree has special meaning to the hospital staff.
Joy Egbert received the award in recognition of her work integrating the Halo Augmented Reality App into the Educational Escape Room located in the Department of Teaching and Learning in Pullman.
