collusion. certainly not good for manafort. the second part though, cohen, that is more serious for the president. i don t think he can just summarily dismiss it we don t know exactly where this is going. especially when you have an attorney who is making surreptitiously tapes of a person. but, again, i think a president or anybody who goes to an attorney has an expectation that the reason did you go to an attorney is to that it is done legally and lawfully. sandra: go ahead. these tapes were not made in the oval office. sandra: no. jon: this all took place before the president was sworn in. it did. one thing that you have to note is cohen was not pleading guilty to a conspiracy. the word conspiracy does not appear in the information document in the court documents. and so, you know, a lot of people are calling trump a co-conspirator. it s not a conspiracy at this point. nobody has been charged with that i do think that the cohen threat is a big one for president trump. espec
stark distinction between the two men s styles and the way they run their respective departments. jon? jon: i know there has been a lot of talk at the white house about the possibility of the president pardoning paul manafort, his one-time campaign chairman. his attorney, rudy giuliani is talking about that. what s he say? yeah. he is saying we are not talking about that. keep in mind i m not on the government s side. i m just on the president s side. and so while he may have an opinion about something of this nature, the fact is this would not come down to his advice it would actually come down to the advice of those in the white house council s office. and, of course, the president could ultimately decide himself one way or the other. here is rudy giuliani, his private attorney. that s up to the president. i m not his government counsel. i m his personal counsel. i have nothing to do with that. if you ask me has paul manafort been treated very unfairly, the man was put in solit
you. definitely. you know. and president trump did do an executive order that had part of sarah s law in it. but we still need these laws passed. and honestly, and i never mean to take it lightly or anything, but this is common sense. and did i not realize we needed a law for this. i just assumed that this was already a law. until it happened to us, i didn t realize that you could be in our country illegally, kill someone, bond out, and free. i did not know we needed a law to state for sure if you are here illegally, you kill someone, or seriously injure them that you are detained. i didn t realize we needed a law to state that. jon: sarah s killer as you mentioned bonded out and disappeared. it s believed that he is probably back in his native honduras, right? that s what everybody thinks.
