Orlando City scores early, holds on to defeat D.C. United

Mauricio Pereyra scored in the seventh minute and Orlando City protected the lead to post a 1-0 victory over D.C. United on Sunday night at Washington, D.C.
The goal was Pereyra s first of the season and third in 25 career matches for Orlando City.
Goalkeeper Pedro Gallese notched his third shutout of the campaign for Orlando City (2-0-3, 9 points), which is unbeaten despite scoring just six goals this season. The Lions have allowed just two.
D.C. United (2-4-0, 6 points) lost for the fourth time in their past five matches.
