And good wednesday morning to you all. We start with law and order on the streets of baltimore overnight. Following the worst rioting in the city since the 1960s. A mandatory curfew got off to a rough start last night. The police using smoke canisters and flash grenades against a defiant crowd refusing to go home. Ten people were arrested. It did not take long to restore relative calm that lasted through the night. Some moving images in the aftermath. Hundreds of volunteers picking up brooms and trash bags to help clean up devastated neighborhoods. Sweeping up glass and debris at the now infamous burnedout cvs. This striking photo going viral. And amid all the racial tension, a little boy handing out water with an outstretched hand to a white Police Officer dressed in riot gear. That photo shared more than 60,000 times. As the curfew went into effect last night, community leads took it upon themselves to call for calm, despite the Massive Police presence. Locking arms, as you see here,

When president bush instituted it and president obama continued it, they didnt have an open discussion about whether the country should have such a program. And actually that seems to run through a little bit of yesterdays opinion by judge lynch. Even dick cheney. This is something that i discovered in writing this book that nobody had ever seen before. When he wrote his dissent in the irancontra matter, he said if you have a hard Foreign Policy or National Security issue, a wise president first would not engage in excessive secrecy, and, second, a wise president would have a full and open democratic discussion in which he would attempt to persuade the public of the need for validity of a broad program. The concept delineating between the number of people affected or how targets are picked, versus the program itself, i think is valuable, and it gets to a question that i would like a from everybody on. There is a trust problem that now exists, for whatever series of reasons. An example
Traffic. Hello everyone and we are off to a fairly good start this morning. There are a few clouds sweeping through the region but theyll be gone before too much longer and overall were going to transition to mostly sunny skies today. 52 degrees in philadelphia, 50 in allentown, 50 in wilmington, 50 in millville so the numbers are a little bit better than they were this time yesterday. And as we head out to catch the bus between 6 oclock and 8 oclock looks like it stays cool. A few clouds 42 indegrees by 6 oclock but up to 54 degrees by 8 oclock and we are going to see a nice bump in the numbers today. 54 degrees by 8 oclock, 62 by noon and by 3 oclock 68 with a high today of 69 degrees. Well probably hit that probably late in the day around 4 oclock. As we take a look at a couple of other issues we have, there is a concern about enhanced danger of brush fires spreading because of the breezy conditions today and the low humidity so thats something to keep in mind and the pollen counter
Day around 4 oclock 5 oclock before we slide back to 68 by 6 oclock. Little bit on the breezy side. We have an issue with an enhanced fire danger and this is because of breezes and low humidity so keep that in mind. No flicking the cigarettes out the car window and your pollen count still running a little bit high the next couple of days but we do expect that to drop off a bit on thursday and friday. Thats because cooler cloudier and perhaps a little damp weather returns to the region. Ill have details on that coming up in the exclusive accuweather 7day matt. Okeydoke david. Nothing too traumatic on the traffic front so far on this Tuesday Morning. Construction continues to block the southbound offramp to ridge avenue. Its because of the paving work going on along ridge avenue in east falls and those of us who are east falls residents are thankful that that paving work is finally going on. Instead of ridge maybe stick with kelly drive or even henry avenue. Although if youre on henry av
