WASHINGTON – The day President Joe Biden was sworn into office, those watching the inauguration saw fire Capt. Andrea Hall, the child of a deaf parent, recite the Pledge of Allegiance – spoken in English and signed.
“Let s just say that s the first time I ve ever cried at the pledge,” said Sara Novic, a deaf writer and college instructor based in Philadelphia. “Beyond access, that was representation, and it meant a lot to see her on the big stage as part of the ceremony.”
The next day, White House press secretary Jen Psaki and infectious diseases expert Anthony Fauci gave a briefing on the COVID-19 pandemic, and on the White House’s livestream, there was a remote American Sign Language interpreter, providing interpretation for deaf and hard-of-hearing Americans.
Disgusting media want White House sign language interpreter erased for her beliefs
Twitter fascists have been digging out old tweets, memes, videos, to look for conservatives whose beliefs conflict with their own. They then use them to demonize the target. These leftists have mailing lists and send out the hit news so they can all take to Twitter and regurgitate it. They won’t stop until the person is out of work and destroyed.
Something as simple as supporting Donald Trump can make the person a target. Posting on Parler or Gab can destroy a person.
The latest target of the fascists is the White House sign language interpreter, Heather Mewshaw. Apparently, she committed the unforgivable sin of interpreting for right-wing organizations. She even manages a group of ASL interpreters who do so for right-wing events.

WASHINGTON - A gesture meant to bolster President Joe Biden s call for unity and inclusion instead inspired divisiveness, after news emerged that a White House American Sign Language interpreter was a Donald Trump supporter who previously interpreted videos rife with misinformation.
Heather Mewshaw, who appeared in the White House coronavirus briefing on Monday beside press secretary Jen Psaki, was identified by deaf and hard-of-hearing advocates and Time Magazine, fueling questions about the White House s vetting process and what could have happened if Mewshaw misinterpreted Biden officials or inserted
