HOUGHTON Patrick Charles Brick Farrell (1964-2021) died on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at the Omega House in Houghton, from complications arising from bone cancer.
Patrick was the son of Daniel Farrell (former University of Michigan hockey coach) and A. Jolayne Farrell (nurse/journalist). He was the grandson of Dr. Michael Brick and Mary Carmichael Brick.
Patrick is survived by his parents and his brother and only sibling, Timothy, an attorney in Washington, D.C. He leaves behind numerous cousins and many friends.
Patrick was born in Canada and spent his early years in Africa before moving permanently to the United States. He graduated from Michigan Tech with a degree in mine engineering.
