They were both quarterbacks, two of the most talented in the country, competing with the country’s best high school passers in Ohio at the Underclassman Report camp, sponsored by Under Armour last June. They were eager as there was no wind and perfect throwing weather for the only camp around as COVID-19 had caused most to be canceled by then. They were put through the usual drills footwork, one step, three steps, throwing an assortment of routes to wide receivers who worked one-on-one against linebackers and defensive backs.

New Oakcrest Coach Ready for Challenge
For 10 years, Mike Forest served as wide receivers coach under Tim Watson at Cedar Creek, and not once during that time did Forest ever harbor dreams of one day becoming a head coach. In fact, he said he never would have those ambitions unless the job came open at his alma mater.
Earlier this year, Forest who helped develop some outstanding receivers during his time at Cedar Creek, such as Amir Mitchell, Bo Melton, Malachi Melton and Jojo Bermudez was hired to be the next head coach at Oakcrest High School after Eric Anderson announced his decision to step down after five seasons. Four-star Camden (N.J.) defensive back Alijah Clark is Rutgers’ top-ranked recruit, but can he help Rutgers as early as next year? NJ Advance Media caught up with head coach Dwayne Savage to find out. And it sounds like his senior is up to the task.
“He made great strides this year. He just kept playing,” Savage said of the 6-2, 180-pound DB. “He played through everything. He’s gotten 100 percent better mentally. A lot of it is because of all the stuff he’s had to overcome in his life. He just keeps fighting.”
