FRANKLIN, Ind. – After almost eight years of service to the Johnson County community, a police canine working out of the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office in Franklin is turning in his badge.
Congratulations are in order for K-9 Nitro on his retirement from law enforcement. Nitro has served with his handler, deputy Mattison, since March 2013 and has been a valued member of the department as he has assisted in many searches and apprehensions over the course of his career.
K-9 Nitro will be enjoying his retirement residing at the home of deputy Mattison and living the life of luxury that he deserves.
