Florida added 2,069 coronavirus cases Sunday to bring the cumulative total to 2,310,335. With 11 more fatalities, 36,474 Florida residents are now dead.
Florida’s weekly positivity rate has been decreasing in the last four weeks. The weekly positivity rate from the week starting May 16 was 4.38%, compared to 4.84% reported the week before that.
In the first week of May, Florida’s weekly positivity rate was 5.63%.
Each report includes deaths from several previous days, as it can take two weeks or more for fatalities to be logged.
As of Sunday’s report, the latest seven-day case count is 18,331, compared with 22,198 in the previous seven days. The latest seven-day death toll is 399, compared with 344 one week earlier.
