Queenslander Tony Gollan has declared Sydneyâs new $2m invitation race for fillies and mares has suddenly become âprimary spring target number oneâ for his Group 1 winner Krone.
He thinks it is right in the “sweet spot” of Krone, his star mare who won the Group 1 Coolmore Classic (1500m) at Rosehill in March.
He is already kicking up for Krone’s credentials to get an invite to race in the new marquee contest for fillies and mares.
