Homicide Surge Hits Overland Park
The Overland Park, Kansas, police department is investigating an early morning homicide in a busy area of the city.Police said the incident happened in the 8500 block of West 8th Street - that area is near the Overland Park City Hall, and not far from Shawnee Mission West High School.News Chopper 9 s Johnny Rowlands flew over the scene and noted most of the Greenbrier Condominiums, across from Shawnee Mission West, have been roped off with crime scene tape.
