Things have been rocky for a while between Coronation Streetâs Johnny and Jenny Connor.
The revelation leads to an upset Jenny telling Ronnie that it s about time he find a more permanent place to live, while Ronnie informs Ed that he plans to sell his half of the business to Kat and see where the mood takes him – in both career and location.
With his bags all packed, Ronnie begs Jenny to give him another chance, but his desperate plea is interrupted when Johnny, having been released from prison, rocks up unexpectedly with a bunch of flowers in his hands. ITV
Following an awkward introduction, Ronnie insists that he s just leaving and heads out as Johnny goes to hug Jenny. Johnny acknowledges that he hasn t been the best husband recently, but promises to make it up to Jenny going forward.
Despite Johnny s denial, he is attacked by Kai and left in a bad way.
Visited by Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) a short while afterwards, Jenny is visibly horrified by Johnny s appearance – as Johnny admits to her that he has stopped taking his MS pills.
Explaining that he doesn t want his eyesight to improve because if it does he won t see Aidan again, Jenny is heartbroken on Johnny s behalf. ITV ITV
Once the news that Johnny has stopped taking his meds reaches Carla (Alison King), she is appalled and vows to rectify the situation.
Offering her view, Jenny s stepdaughter Daisy tells her stepmother that Johnny simply isn t worth all this trouble. But will Jenny listen?
