Central Texans are having mixed reactions after the Texas House approved a bill that would allow people to carry handguns without a permit in the Lone Star State.
Citizens like Connie Matthews, who supports people wanting to defend themselves, says removing gun licensing is a red flag. It would seem like Texas was a more dangerous place to live. It may even deter people from coming here if they thought there were people with guns that were not trained, she said.
Matthews says she s in favor of more regulations on guns.
